Spring Break In Puerto Vallarta At A Luxury Villa In Bucerias
We decided to stay in Bucerias because we were looking for a more casual experience and to avoid the flock of tourists that crowd the area during spring break.
On that same note, Puerto Vallarta is conveniently located half an hour away and there are many options when it comes to public transportation.
A taxi to downtown Puerto Vallarta costs about 25 dollars.
You also have the option of taking a bus for a lot less, but it will take you longer to get there.
There is no place for boredom in the area, since you can practice any water sport imaginable such as: diving, surfing, paddle surfing, kayaking, and windsurfing among others.
We took paddle surf lessons near Punta Mita and visited the hidden beach on Marietas Island; this is an amazing place for snorkeling! We also tried parasailing and although we did not get the adrenaline rush we expected, floating around the bay for about 15 minutes was pretty fun.
It is worth mentioning that we did not book any of these activities; you don't need to; just go to the nearest beach and there will be many options to choose from.
Just remember not to accept the first price you hear; haggling is almost customary.
Dinning options were also we tried most of the restaurants in Bucerias and highly rated options in Puerto Vallarta.
We had many restaurants just a few blocks away from where we were staying; however, nightlife is null in Bucerias and almost nothing happens after 10:00pm so we headed to Vallarta for fun.
In Puerto Vallarta we visited about four clubs located along boardwalk with different music and had lots of fun! The thing that we enjoyed was the Electro Beach Festival that goes on every year during Spring Break season.
There were world-renowned DJ´s playing at local clubs that you normally see in stadiums and over crowded music festivals, but in Puerto Vallarta you can dance literally at their feet.
We went to the appearances given by Tiësto and Paul Van Dyk and it was simply amazing! We really enjoyed the Spring Break in Vallarta and our luxurious villa in Bucerias and we will definitely go back next year.
This time we will probably rent one of the jaw dropping villas in Punta Mita.
