Uscis To Reissue Advance Parole Documents
The reissue of advance parole documents (Form I-512) has been announced by the U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The reason for reissue is that the USCIS had issued forms with an incorrect date of January 5, 1990. Since the affected documents have been identified by the U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the individuals will receive the documents with a correct date in a short while. Applicants need not to worry or call the U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services regarding their pending applications if their expiry date is mentioned correctly. You can contact the USCIS for the processing of your application, if it is pending and has not been processed within the normal processing time of 90 days.
In case of unexpected travel, the USCIS grants permission to travel with the issued document, which has the incorrect date. Since the applicants will be enquired by the U. S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has advised applicants to print this information to give them a proper explanation.
