What about a road trip on the weekend?
No matter how busy we are in the weekdays, most of us would like to have an enjoyable weekend for relaxation and refreshment. Then, what's your way of leisure and entertainment? Watching a movie, holding a party, or going out for shopping? As for me, I prefer to enjoy a road trip with my friends.
My father always says that travelling is a good way to refresh you and broaden your view. I can't agree with him more. In every journey, you can not only see a lot of beautiful scenery but also meet different people. You may gain plenty of pleasure when enjoying the beauty of nature, get lots of amusement when viewing some creative works by human being, and have much fun when talking to local people. A nice trip will bring you both happiness and new thoughts.
I feel like having a relaxing journey with my dear friends in the leisure time. Thanks to the convenient transportation, we can go to many wonderful attractions as we like. In the meanwhile, we are able to have various enjoyments in the vehicle. That's why we often have a road trip on weekends or in holidays together.
If it is a long journey, we will watch a movie on the car DVD together during the driving. I love science fiction movies and suspense movies very much, so I often recommend some wonderful films like Shutter Island and X-men for my friends to enjoy when they have free time. However, some of my friends don't like such movies so much, and they prefer to view some comedies. Thus, sometimes I may watch a comedy with them, and sometimes I may enjoy different movie on the headrest DVD in my own seat.
If it is a short trip, it will become much simpler. When we get together, we usually have much to talk about, such as movies, ourdoor activities, jobs, and new friends. When we become tired, we will turn on the car DVD player to enjoy some melodious music in the relaxing time. At times we may play some interesting games as well like "Truth or Adventure". No matter in which way we spend the time, we can often get enough amusement in the interaction. I believe it's the biggest advantage of a trip with friends.
During the road trip, we often go to some wonderful places such as a beautiful hill and a historical building, and see many people in different regions. Sometimes we may also visit some interesting shops like a handicraft shop. A variety of lifelike handicrafts are able to show you the beauty of art and the creativity of human being. Such journeys are really full of fun.
