"One Life to Live" Recap for Wednesday, April 7, 2010
Roxy goes to see Schular, tells him she is his birth mother, but he thinks she hates his guts. Until 5 minutes ago she was Rex's Mom and he came between them. He has time as he is handcuffed at the police station, so they go over the baby switch story. He admits he would do anything to get Gigi to love him, he went along with Stacy's lies, kidnapped Gigi and tried to kill Rex. He asks Roxy to please hate him so he doesn't come between her and her family.
Schular is self loathing right now and can't believe he shot the police commissioner. Roxy says he was lucky to have been raised by a good woman / not her, but he is stuck with her as a Mom now. Roxy says she will never be ok with Sky trying to shoot Rex, but she was a lousy mother to Natalie and Rex and calls her chance with Schular a do-over. Then she tells him she was a drunk and he was a druggie and they both lost Sierra Rose tonight. Schular is beginning to understand what a mess he made. He can't believe he tried to force Gigi to love him at gunpoint.
Cole returns home to find Markko peeved he isn't Langston. Markko thinks he is losing her. Cole says Starr would tell him if something was up. When Langston comes in, Markko hops on her "where were you?" He says he would stop being so jealous when she stops acting so guilty. Langston lieas about where she was, then shows him a pict on her phone of the set Mr. Vega built, with a time and date stamp. Markko admits he feels he is losing her slowly and doesn't know what would happen if he lost her.
They decide to play a video game together.
Starr goes to see Ford and asks him to stop seeing Langston. She tells him he made it her business when he left an empty condom wrapper on her floor. And it also became her business when Langston asked her to not tell Cole because she and Cole tell each other everything. When Ford confronts her on that, she tells him off and that he gets off on showing girls who are barely legal how naive they are. He calls her a slut who got herself pregnant in high school. Starr is cool about the fact she made love to her boyfriend but did not force anyone to lie, and turns the tables. Ford says he respects Langston and no one is forcing them to be together. He is not manipulated her and she is no more a victim than Starr was when she tried to seduce her teacher. Starr asks how he knows about that and questions Ford's feelings for Langston. Starr says she and Cole know what they want and are meant to be together after Ford asks if his and Langston's relationship somehow threatens hers with Cole, but Starr is sure, even when Ford mentions how Cole is most likely with Hannah right now. Then Ford kinda stands up next to her, "sure about that?", he asks, kinda sleezy like. Starr leaves after telling Ford he will never know true love and one day Langston will leave him flat. Later, Ford calls Langston but she hangs up on him. He immediately calls for a pizza and asks for Karen, the gossipy delivery girl.
Marty wakes in the hospital asking for John but is told he must be down in the ER with Bo, who has been shot. He is there, hugging Natalie, as Marty later sees. Hannah finds Marty's empty hospital room, but wants her office to see a shrink. Upon learning Dr. Saybrooke has been admitted, she calls Cole to ask him if he needs anything, but it is news to him. When Cole shows up in her hospital room, Hannah and Cole look in the chart. Marty is pregnant and has fainted, but are both fine, they learn. (Cole knows about the baby.) When Marty and John come back to the room, they explain the reason why she fainted (high blood pressure). Hannah explains why she is there and how Cole said Marty might help her as she has been going through a tough time. It is here Cole learns it was his previous drug counselor who shot Bo. Hannah gives him a hug as Starr arrives to see them, having gotten a message from Cole. After Hannah makes a quick exit, Cole says he feels guilty that he told Starr about Hannah secret (pills and Ford).
Gigi goes to see Fish to check on her niece, knowing Fish is the father. She is so worried, she even left Rex at the hospital, with Bo is in bad shape, having had jumped in front of Rex to take a bullet for him. Gigi explains how Schular blamed Rex for his losing everything. Fish feels guilty he had to tell Schular he was not the baby daddy, now knowing how Sky took the news. He wants to go see Bo, but Gigi tells him his place is here with his daughter. Gigi holds Sierra and talks about the first time she held her, the night of the blizzard. Fish remembers how when Gigi fell through the ice, she never let the baby touch the water. He says she saved Sierra, she says he did too, that night. Then Gigi asks Fish, did he think he was Sierra's father back then, Kyle tries to change the subject. Fish says he wants to be honest and admits to Gigi that he knew there was a chance he might be the father, but that he knew Rex was not for a long time. Kyle says its his fault, he overheard by accident while on duty and admits Stacy and Kim threatened to get him kicked out of med school if he said anything. He defends Oliver (Fish) as taking a long time to come to terms with it. Fish says he is glad Sierra is here now. Fish and Gigi bond over the baby and think she looks like the other one.
