When I entered my hopeful short trip to my room, I unfortunately had to conclude that the days had changed in my absence, unfortunately, very little. The bathroom was still half-finished and still half the living center of the room. Slowly, I was really annoyed by this situation. I waited barely a month to my room. So I decided, even though I really just wanted to lie in a soft and cozy bed, take the site into their own hands. That same evening we managed to make the living room ready and set up. I was finally able to clear up my room. But that was where the real work is just beginning. I decided to paint the walls and I had a light switch and one outlet folded down. So I was working all night and all day Sunday. When I finished Sunday cleaning evening, I was finally able to sleep the first night in a real room. It was really very pleasant, although I still have to make do with the old saggy mattress had.

The next morning I noticed that the bathroom floor was wet. Inwardly, I feared the worst, but once I took the wet due to the fact that I had forgotten the previous day while cleaning a little water on the floor. When I came home from work the evening, the fear was a certainty. Somewhere under the sink was a water pipe, which are here in Pucallpa, plastic, broken. I was on my nerves with only one end. Inwardly, I was painting I was feeling torn from one wall and a totally dusty room. So I decided to freely take me tomorrow morning. I did not know that construction workers were working without my supervision in my room. It's just gone too far on this site dirty and broken.

Thus came the next morning, a worker over and together we have found the problem fairly quickly and corrected. The workers had screwed two water pipes so tight that one of them is on the seam split open, allowing water easily lost. In the following days, I made my shelf and ready got me a really very comfortable mattress. My room is finally finished and I feel now in my new home come true.

Waste accompanied me in Pucallpa currently daily. Because I am currently busy with him at work, he drops me in the streets on very different. It really is amazing how much garbage is lying around in Pucallpa and how much garbage is valuable not simply used. On Tuesday I went with Melanie first major to a recycling center. Here are PET bottles, scrap metal, plastic and PEAD bought up old shoes and then transported to Lima. The ability to sell is garbage, but many Pucallpinern not even aware of. The rising prices for recyclable waste, however, show that this industry in Peru is currently growing and gaining in importance. For us it was a positive example of recycling for a sustainable and environmentally sound waste management.
