Jade Plant Water Care
- The jade plant is sometimes called a friendship tree or money plant. However, it is not the same plant as the money tree, which is not a succulent.
- Jade plants should only be watered once or twice per month in the summer when the soil becomes very dry. In the winter, jade plants only need to be watered once per month. They should be watered just enough to moisten the soil.
- Normally, only the soil of the jade plant is watered in order to provide water to the roots. However, if the leaves curl inward or turn brown, they can be watered as well.
- Over-watering is worse for jade plants than under watering. If you've watered your jade plant recently and are not sure whether it needs more, just leave it.
