Anchorage is the home to more than half the population of Alaska. Its nicknames are the "City of Lights" in the winter and the "City of Flowers" in the summer. An Anchorage summer has an average temperature of 68 degrees F. Groups leave at 11 a.m. May through September to cruise the untamed wilderness of the Prince William Sound. They will visit a working salmon hatchery, cruise the spectacular Esther Passage and on to see the glaciers in the Harrimon Fjord and the Barry Arm.
At the majestic Surprise Glacier, passengers will see all the marine animals and birds that flourish in these waters. Included is an Alaskan King crab cake lunch. The cruise is six hours long and is a 100-mile round trip. When booking this cruise, customers will receive a free pass to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, (AWCC). Going to the AWCC, they will see bears, caribou, moose, muskox and more in natural settings.

Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise departs early from Anchorage to Seward. This wildlife and glacier cruise is famous for rich marine wildlife, beautiful fjords, stunning coastal landscapes and glaciers. Passengers often watch for sea lions, puffins, harbor seals, sea otters and birds. They might even see an eagle or whale. There is a choice of stopping at Aialik or Holgate glacier to witness glacier calving. Return to Anchorage in the evening. A deli lunch is included. This cruise lasts for six hours.

On this cruise, groups travel down the Seward Highway and visit Portage glacier. Groups see the Begich-Bogg Visitors Center before they board the cruise. One they step onto the M/V Ptarmigan, they will experience an unforgettable narrated cruise across the Portage Lake to the face of Portage glacier. A representative of the U.S. Forest Service narrates the cruise.
On the way back to Anchorage, they will stop at the Alyeska Ski Resort for lunch and the optional tram ride to the top of MT Alyeska. This tour is seven hours in duration.
