Financial Freedom - The Bonds of Money
This leads us to measure success by how much money we have or don't have.
It is all too often the way we measure success.
Money figures very strongly in people's goals and aims in life.
What we must do is end this slavery! Success can really be measured in so many different ways, and very often money is the least of these.
Now, of course, we must avoid debt as far as humanly possible.
But, what we must not do is measure success in purely monetary terms.
However, having said all that, the goal of financial freedom is very important.
What is Financial Freedom? "We cannot enjoy life if we are all the time worried about not having enough money.
" - Brian Tracy, The Psychology of Achievement Financial freedom is, basically, the point at which we do not worry about money.
It is not a lack of debt or to be counted in terms of dollar bills.
It simply cannot be measured by some universal set amount of cash that you might have stored up in the bank or in your piggy bank.
The truth is, financial freedom has a totally different dollar sign for every single person.
For example: the truly poor man who is struggling to find work and cannot even afford to buy his family necessary food, financial freedom might well be three hundred dollars per week, or maybe even less.
Then, for a blue-collar worker, who has a family and a two-bedroom house, financial freedom could be defined as enough money to get a bigger house.
