How can Kids Fans help a Baby Room?
Kids Fans with Lights in Baby to Tween rooms?
What does a kid's ceiling fan look like vs. an adult's fan? The key difference is the look of the fan. What else? Typical kids fans have fun images on the blades that for example a baby lying in their crib could look at. Like Winnie the Pooh, Sports, Tyrannosauruses Rex or T Rex and dozens of more activity and character views.
Like these ones, as an examples:

Here are Eight Key reasons beside the introductory reasons above in the Summary for ceiling fans in kids rooms and in houses:
Kids enjoy the images they see on an otherwise pretty plain ceiling.
The child when older can learn about rotation in two directions with supervision.
Having the light on the ceiling makes it out of the way from their curious hands.
Keep the pull chain if you have one out of their reach even if they were to try to stand on a table or chair but if they do want that bad to control it teach them how to. But make sure if the remote has batteries it is a safe one with a screw to secure in place.
Fans can reduce the need for electricity for cooling in summer and heat use in the winter by following the instructions.
Did you know some homes like fans so much they put on in almost every room in their house if the Can! And they are glad when it is hot, sweaty etc to have a breeze of a ceiling fan on them cooling downwards and from the sides. What does the fan do?
It circulates otherwise stagnant air and moves it in a Wave sort of up across down and then back again in an ongoing pattern. In the winter heat naturally rises that is one reason basements are cooler in summer than the upstairs areas. As again hot air rises. Then what about cold air? it settles. So while the hot air is going up the cold air is settling down!
The idea is get the hot air in winter Down to the people near it and in the summer pulling up the cold to mix in the upper and mid sections of the room in other words not at your feet!.
So now get a ceiling fan for your child's room. What do I have to do to get the ceiling fan on the ceiling of your kids room? First all you need an electrical connection such a ceiling light could be replaced with a kids ceiling fan and light. Due to the fans motion and possibly side motions the electrical box needs to be secured to the ceiling beams. joists, frame etc. So if the ceiling is not Fan Ready, then it is best to hire an electrician to install the ceiling fan and light. Else an experienced handyman. If you can read and follow the instructions and know how to turn off the circuit of the room. And know to keep one hand behind your back while drilling or screwing with metallic conductive tools into other such materials, get someones assistance and guidance you maybe able to put up the fan your self. But if any doubts or issues then it is not worth it to do it or try.
For example this author worked in an electrical department for consumers and put up before that about 5 fans in a hot climate. Then took three of them down, moved them to a cold climate and installed them there! So it is possible! But with much dedication, time and practice and knowledge. But even then a Vaulted Ceiling with a Fan sitting on an angled inner roof structure high up is not for anybody, but an good handy strong electrician
Remember you have to at some point lift the ceiling fan high up over your head or bring it down from a ceiling. So it takes planning, finesse, knowledge and strength. That is why the electrician was paid and paid well to put up a vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan! And it loved every day! it has a cool remote to dim the lights and speed and slow down the fan.
This information is personal and the reader and use of this information is as your own risk! And is not by a licensed electrician but a pretty good handy person that learned this over time! (and got into engineering schools to boot)
