Its been 14 years since I am using glasses to see the world clearly. Its really a painful thing when it rains or when you want to swim, the guys with glasses always feel bitter and painful. So as me, I was a sports freak, But due to low vision, I had to wear the glasses.

Been spending a painful life, someone suggested me to go for laser surgery. It was pleasing to know that I can actually get rid of glasses. Then I started searching over internet about both the procedures.

I came to know that Lasik is the advance way of surgery, and its less painful. But the people gone through lasik had much more after effects then PRK.

The PRK is ordinary way to fix vision. It got much more success then Lasik. And the procedure itself is not that much painful. So I decided to go for it.

In May this year, I searched for the places and the experts that performs PRK. But then surprised to know that there are very much people doing it.

Then I came across a hospital and a doctor who is doing it since long. I decided to go for it .

It took me not more then 5 mints on each eye to perform PRK. So after 10 minutes and they done PRK , I was given eye drops , and Sun glasses for initial use. They put contact lens on my eye as they said it is more like a bandage, and the next appointment was after four days.

I felt some discomfort and pain during healing, But it was nothing unbearable. After four days, they took off my contact lens. And now they set appointment of next month.

During this month, first two weeks were bad, my eye was recovering and vision was not perfect , but after two weeks, it started getting better.

Now its been more then 6 months, and I am perfect now. I would strongly recommend PRK over Lasik. But there are lot more other ways to recover as well.
