There are many tourist activities throughout South Florida to explore its cities and habitats. Whether on land, air or sea, there are plenty of activities that offer both guided tours and onboard activities with exciting entertainment. - As the third largest park in the lower 48 states, the Everglades National Park is a popular tourist attraction in South Florida offering many activities spread over is its vast 2,400 square miles of land. There are a variety of outdoor activities available in the Everglades including, biking, camping, and hiking. Kayak and canoe rentals are available and are a great way to explore the habitats through a trail of mangrove tunnels and open lakes. If you prefer a guided tour, the Everglades Safari Park will narrate your exploration on an airboat ride guiding you through the park and its exotic wildlife.

- Island Queen Cruises offers several sightseeing and guided water tours. The Bayside Blaster is an 80 passenger vessel sailing at speeds of over 25 mph from Bayside Marketplace to the Port of Miami. The ship travels through Fisher Island with a narrated sightseeing tour through some of Miami Beach's celebrity and multi-million dollar homes. The entire ride is an hour and 30 minutes long with beverages and light snacks available for purchase onboard. The Island Queen Daily Dance Cruise also departs from downtown Miami at Bayside Marketplace and cruises through Miami Beach and the Port of Miami with a DJ onboard spinning dance club hits. The 140 passenger cruise offers a full cash bar serving beer, wine, premium beverages, soft drinks and light snacks. There are two decks, an open-air dance floor on top and an enclosed bottom deck with air conditioning. This Miami cruise departs daily beginning at 9 pm with another departure every hour on the hour.
