Click the Start button, then click "Control Panel."

Click on "System and Security."

Click "Administrative Tools."

Double-click "System Configuration."

Click on the tab marked "Startup" to display a list of the programs that load automatically when Windows 7 boots up.

Uncheck the box next to each program you do not need to run when Windows 7 starts up.

Click "OK" when finished to disable these startup items.
