• "The Umbrella Academy: Dallas" is a sequel to the original series and was released on November 26, 2008. A third series, "The Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion," is currently being developed as of January 2010 and is said to focus on the villains of the series.

• As of January 2010, Dark Horse comics has a deal with Universal Pictures in which the film studio has optioned "The Umbrella Academy." The tentative release date for the film is sometime in 2012.
