There are websites that specifically deal with the sale of digital products and look after the paying of commissions.

Article Marketing If you have a bit of creative talent, you can write an article on whatever niche, topic or subject you chosen product reside in and then submit your article to an article directory for publication.
You are allowed to place a link in the resource box at the end of the article and this is where you would place your affiliate link.

Be aware that not all article directories allow affiliate links so you may have to send the reader to a website that you own and link to your product from there.

Now you can follow people that appear on the search results and also go into their profiles and add their followers to your list.
This is fine as long as you tweet good information and don't spam.
Now research your niche and start tweeting helpful information - tips, news, advice etc.
Don't be afraid to interact and ask your followers questions.
Get to know them.
Every once in a while you can add that you have come across a great product and then include your affiliate link.
But don't just go straight in and tweet your link 1000 times a day...
that's spamming and you won't make a dime.

Blog Commenting This is a simple method but again, you should make sure you make purposeful useful comments that enhance the blog and not just expect to post random worthless spam comments that will simply be deleted.

You will have to manually check the blogs and see that they allow comments.
Read the blogs contents and make a few constructive comments about the content and the subject matter interact with the other people commenting and the blog owner.
When you have become a valued poster you should be able to suggest that the readers check out your product and you can add your affiliate link.
