One Man"s Struggle With Weight
As the holidays approach, it can be very easy to overeat and gain additional unwanted pounds.
I have struggled with my weight over the past 3 years of my life as I have gotten older and my metabolism has slowed greatly.
After several failed diets and exercise routines I may have finally found the right combination of resistance training, exercise, and diet that has allowed me to keep my weight down and unhealthy habits in check..
One can possibly find this perfect combination either on their own or allowing a personal trainer to design one specifically for you.
Considering the amount of time and failed attempts I would highly recommend the personal trainer route.
In the beginning my routine each day consisted of two bananas for breakfast, Subway ham and cheese without Mayo for lunch.
Dinner consisted of either another sandwich or grilled chicked salad.
Dinner always had to follow working out six of seven days a week My workout routine consisted of 25 minutes ofcardiopulmonary exercise.
This was folllowed by another hour of walking the track finally by another 15-20 minutes of some sort of resistance training.
This combination of diet and exercise allowed me to drop 15lbs in two weeks and finally my ultimate goal of 35lbs in less than two months.
Now I follow the same exercise routine but with expanded my meal choices allowing for many low-fat substitutions.
Considering everything I went through, I would highly recommend using a personal trainer which will create a routine which is specific for you.
Life is too short not to keep your self healthy and happy.
