Listed is every PPV match (excluding battle royals in which he was not involved in the ending) and title change that he has been involved in. Bolded items represent title victories while italicized items represent title losses. Please note that in the '80s, there were several title changes that were not recognized by the promoters.
While they are listed here, they do not count towards Flair's World Championships.

12/26 - w/Greg Valentine beat Ole & Gene Anderson to win the NWA World Tag Team Championship
1977
5/8 - w/Greg Valentine lost the NWA Tag Team Titles to Ole & Gene Anderson
7/29 - won the U.S. Title from Bobo Brazil
10/23 - lost the U.S. Title to Ricky Steamboat
10/30 - w/Greg Valentine regained the NWA Tag Team Titles from Ole & Gene Anderson
1978
4/?? – Flair and Valentine are stripped of the NWA World Tag Team Titles
4/9 - won the U.S. Title from Mr. Wrestling
12/18 - lost the U.S. Title to Ricky Steamboat
1979
4/1 - regained the U.S. Title from Ricky Steamboat
8/8 - w/ Blackjack Mulligan won the NWA World Tag Team Championship from Baron Von Raschke & Paul Jones
8/12 – vacated the U.S. Title
8/22 - w/ Blackjack Mulligan lost the NWA World Tag Team Championship to Baron Von Raschke & Paul Jones
1980
4/19 - won the U.S. Title from Jimmy Snuka
7/26 - lost the U.S. Title to Greg Valentine
11/24 - regained the U.S. Title from Greg Valentine
1981
1/27 - lost the U.S. Title to Roddy Piper
9/17 - beat Dusty Rhodes to win the NWA World Championship
1982
???
- during a tour of Puerto Rico he allowed himself to be pinned by Jack Veveno to avoid a riot. The title was given back to Flair after the match and the title change is not recognized in his 16-World Championship Count.
7/14 - fought to a double DQ against WWF Champion Bob Backlund
12/25 Christmas Star Wars - beat Kerry Von Erich in a steel cage match due to the actions of referee Michael Hayes. This event started the classic Von Eric-Freebird feud.
1983
1/6 - lost the title to Carlos Colon, the loss is not recognized
1/10 - regained the title from Carlos Colon (not counted towards his 16 wins)
2/9 - lost the title to the Midnight Rider (the suspended Dusty Rhodes under a mask) but when he refused to unmask Flair was given back the title
6/10 - lost the NWA World Title to Harley Race
11/24 Starrcade – regained the NWA Championship from Harley Race in a steel cage match
12/25 Christmas Star Wars – lost via DQ to David Von Erich
1984
3/21 - lost the title to Harley Race on a foreign tour (not recognized)
3/23 - regained the title from Harley Race (not counted towards his 16 wins)
5/6 Parade of Champions – lost the NWA World Championship to Kerry Von Erich
5/24 – regained the title from Kerry Von Erich
11/29 Starrcade - NWA Title and $1 million: Ric Flair beat Dusty Rhodes when special guest ref Joe Frazier stopped the match due to excessive bleeding.
12/25 Christmas Star Wars – lost by DQ to Kerry Von Erich
1985
5/5 Parade of Champions – fought Kevin Von Erich to a double count out
7/6 Great American Bash – beat Nikita Koloff
9/29 - beat Nikita Koloff in a steel cage match. After the match, Ric and the Andersons broke Dusty Rhodes ankle.
10/2 - fought to a double count out against AWA World Champion Rick Martel
11/28 Starrcade – lost to Dusty Rhodes by DQ
1986
4/19 Crockett Cup – beat Dusty Rhodes by DQ
7/26 Great American Bash – lost the title to Dusty Rhodes in a steel cage match
8/9 – regained the title from Dusty Rhodes
11/27 Starrcade – beat Nikita Koloff by DQ

1/24 Bunkhouse Stampede – lost to Road Warrior Hawk by DQ
3/27 Clash of Champions – fought to a draw with Sting
4/23 Crockett Cup – lost to Nikita Koloff by DQ
7/10 GAB – beat Lex Luger when the match was stopped due to excessive bleeding
12/7 COC - Ric Flair & Barry Windham defeated The Midnight Express
12/26 Starrcade – beat Lex Luger
1989
2/20 Chi-Town Rumble – lost the NWA World Champion ship to Ricky Steamboat
4/2 COC – lost a best-of-3 falls match to Ricky Steamboat 2-1
5/7 Music City Showdown – regained the title from Ricky Steamboat. After the match, he was attacked and injured by Terry Funk.
7/23 GAB – beat Terry Funk
9/12 COC - Sting & Ric Flair beat Dick Slater & Great Muta by DQ. After the match, Terry Funk put a plastic bag over Ric Flair's head.
10/28 Halloween Havoc - Thunderdome Cage Match: Sting & Ric Flair beat Terry Funk & The Gret Muta. Bruno Sammartino was special guest ref.
11/15 COC – beat Terry Funk in an I-Quit match
12/23 Starrcade – beat the Great Muta
