A Decade of the Original Licensed LEGO Star Wars Toys - Including Building Sets and Video Games

LEGO is a Danish brand of toy pieces that can be used to assemble models of different intricacy.
Right before the new millennium, Star Wars appeared as their first licensed product (Spider-Man, Harry Potter, Batman, Indiana Jones, and a few others was later introduced) and since then, building models from all the movies have had their premiere.
In recent time sets based on The Clone Wars picture and TV show have likewise joined the series.
These sets primarily depict important vehicles, such as Dart Vader's TIE fighter, and some scenes from the movies, such as the battle of Endor.
Many devotees of the LEGO series have made home made sets for the Universe from the original pieces.
Just one way of many to have fun with these great quality sets.
After the success of the building sets, the LEGO Star Wars computer game was released in 2005.
The game was based on the LEGO models, depicting characters such as Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu in the prequel movies.
Later a sequel was also made, this one based on the original trilogy (episodes IV, V and VI).
It is presented in a similar format, though new features are presented to take more advantage of the unique interactivity of LEGO.
A compilation of the first two computer games called Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga was announced at Celebration IV.
Incorporating all the movies, the video game was made available on every next-gen consoles, as well as the Nintendo DS.
The current Star Wars license with LEGO is believed to have been renewed to run through to 2011.
