How to Make Frog Eyes for a Costume
- 1). Use the knife to carefully cut the ping-pong ball into equal halves by first poking a hole in the ball, then slowly slicing the ball in half.
- 2). Put glue around the cut edges of the ping-pong ball halves, and glue them to the front of the hood on the costume. Space them out a few inches apart. Hold firmly in place for 10 seconds before allowing them to dry on their own.
- 3). Cut four strips of green felt about 1/2-inch thick with scissors. Make sure they are equal in length.
- 4). Place a thin line of glue on the long edges of each strip of felt.
- 5). Place one strip of felt to the bottom of each eye (for the lower eyelid). One edge should adhere to the ping-pong ball and the other to the fabric of the costume.
- 6). Glue one strip of felt to the top of each eye (for the top eyelid), and hold firmly in place for 10 seconds.
- 7). Draw the pupil of each eye in the middle of the ping-pong ball halves with a black permanent marker.
