Why Joey and Johnny Keep Asking Me For My Calculation of Calories to Lose Weight

The love of food and all the trimmings that surround it has always been a pivotal part of my life.
Recently I had to resort to my worst nightmare situation.
I had to try out my abilities at making a calculation of calories to lose weight.
My Doctor and trustworthy friend Gerry, my childhood pal and my best mate through our school years, pulled me to one side and with his arm around my shoulder, whispered the dreaded words - you will have to lose weight for the sake of your health.
To face a low calorie, low fat and low carbohydrate life was a sentence worse than gaol to me.
I have watched two close friends, Joey and Johnny, lose and gain weight several times in the past year.
They are still the same weight now as they were when they started out.
During the entire year, they were a misery to be near.
They were always complaining about being hungry as well as constantly suffering from colds and flu.
I am sure you will understand why I found it so very difficult to come to terms with prospect of having to enter a diet program.
I had always heard it said and I always believed it to be true.
That losing weight could be a difficult undertaking.
Yet we are bombarded on a daily basis with media advertisements about how easy it is to lose weight.
They tell you that if you just use their newly discovered program or purchase their latest product, your life will be rosy.
The more I see happening around me only confirms to me what I originally believed.
Anyway, I was forced to explore the ins and outs of what the whole weight losing business entailed.
I realized early on that my chances of success would largely rely on the accuracy of the calculation of calories to lose weight.
This was a daunting task for an ardent lover of food, but I was determined to succeed.
So, I prepared a journal of my favorite foods and used a trusted calculation of calories to lose weight to arrive at a personal action plan.
Before long, I began to understand that it was not as simple as buying a product.
My friends had failed in their efforts and everyone I spoke to had similar stories to relate about people they knew.
They had all used various quick fix programs or latest fad products but failed in their efforts to succeed.
Now if you are seriously overweight, and it has started to affect your health then you will need to seek and follow your doctor's advice.
But if you are like me, and only need to lose a few pounds, in my case 27 pounds, then there are several ways to achieve weight loss.
I carried out diligent research on the whole area of dieting and losing fat.
Eventually, I picked a proven program to work with and I set about my task.
It has now been 15 weeks since I started but it only seems like last week.
The time has flown by so fast that I am totally amazed.
I have lost 22 pounds already without any real discomfort or distress on my part.
As part of my plan, I persuaded my friend, Pete, to allow me to take his dog, Fred, for a walk.
This was 3 evenings during the week and on Sunday mornings.
It worked out so well for me that I took the plunge and done what I've always dreamed about since I was a small boy.
I bought my own dog, Bob, and he and I now take our walks daily.
The exercise has been a tremendous help to me in my campaign to lose weight.
At all times I have continued to eat my favorite foods but in a structured and planned way.
I am using a trusted calculation of calories to lose weight and I eat 5 meals every day.
The meal portions are carefully measured.
The portions are smaller than I would have normally taken in the past.
But then I was only eating 2 or 3 meals each day.
To my great surprise and relief, I have never got any real hunger pangs during the period of the program.
So far so good! Nor have I ever felt the urge to go on any eating binges or refer to my calculation of calories to lose weight.
My pals keep calling me to inquire how I am progressing.
They keep asking me how am I doing it and how come I have been succeeding where they had failed.
I keep telling them, that when I reach my target weight in 4 or 5 weeks time, then they can have total access to the details of my plan.
They will then know how they can get in touch with the program to lose weight for themselves.
