How to Change a Dodge Keyless Entry Module
- 1). Start the most common instructions for programming a Dodge keyless remote by inserting the ignition key and turning it to "Run." In other words, turn the cylinder as far as it will turn without turning over the engine.
- 2). Wait for the ignition chime to stop before proceeding.
- 3). Hold down the "Unlock" button on the working remote (the one that is already programmed) for 4 to 10 seconds.
- 4). Press the "Panic" button on the same remote for one second. Release both buttons simultaneously. You'll need to press the "Panic" button sometime in the 4- to10-second range mentioned in Step 3. The car's chime confirms that you've successfully entered the programming mode. Complete Step 5 within 30 seconds of that chime.
- 5). Press any button on all remotes that you are programming.
- 6). Remove the ignition key to exit the programming mode.
