1965 Chevrolet 250 Specifications
- The 1965 Chevrolet 250, commonly known as the 1965 Chevrolet Corvette, was the first Corvette to use four-wheel disc brakes. It had minimal styling changes on the exterior, with the exception of new side-mounted exhaust pipes, new wheel covers, a restyled grille and new front fenders. The major Corvette changes in 1965 occurred under the hood.
- The 1965 Corvette, built in the United States, is a convertible car with rear-wheel drive. The standard version was the 1965 Corvette with a 327 Turbo Fire V-8 with 250 horsepower. The upgraded version of the 1965 Corvette 327 had a 300-horsepower engine. Furthermore, the most powerful version of the 1965 Corvette was the carburetor 365 horsepower; for real power, the Ram-Jet fuel-injected 327 also came standard on the model type.

In addition, the car offered 10 different interior colors, -- white, Medium Saddle, Medium Dark Saddle, silver, dark green, Medium Blue, Medium Dark Blue, red, maroon and a traditional black interior paint color.
- The 1965 Chevrolet Corvette 250 came in two different versions -- a two-door Fastback Coupe and a two-door convertible version of the Corvette 250. Chevy made 8,187 1965 two-door fastback coupe vehicles and 15,377 1965 Corvette convertibles. The 1965 two-door Fastback Coupe came at a factory price of $3,947, and the 1965 two-door convertible model sold for $3,212. Such low prices allowed for the 1965 Corvette to sell a record 23,564 1965 Chevrolet Corvette models.
