How to Save Data on PlayStation 3
- 1). Connect the USB flash drive to either USB port on the front of the PS3.
- 2). Scroll to the section on the PS3 main menu that best represents the type of data you want to save to the PS3. For example, if you want to save a song, you'd scroll to the "Music" section.
- 3). Press the "Triangle" button to bring up a list of all the files on the flash drive.
- 4). Highlight the file you want to save, press the "Triangle" button and select "Copy."
- 1). Scroll to the "Game" section on the PS3 main menu.
- 2). Select "Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)."
- 3). Select "New Internal Memory Card."
- 4). Select which type of memory card you want to create (PS1 or PS2).
- 5). Enter a name for the memory card (optional), highlight "OK" and press the "X" button.
- 6). Select "Slot 1" when asked to assign the memory card. The PS1 or PS2 games will know which slots to save data to.
