How to Know If You Are Obese - Get Your BMI Right From the Internet

A diet plan is just the beginning of a weight loss program.
Some plans cause you to shed pounds the first day and others just manage intake of food and drinks.
Decide on a weight loss plan that will accomplish your goals for a healthy body weight.
Get your BMI (body mass index) before you start so that you know how much you need to loose for good health.
BMI can be gotten with an internet search.
You will need to spell out body mass index so that you do not have to scan through the other items that have the same acronym.
If you are obese, a diet is a necessity for faster weight loss.
The sooner the weight goes, the better chance you have at life.
You can have your own diet plan rather than one that is purchased if you base it on proven, scientific data and devote yourself to it for health reasons.
After all diets have been tried, and all research has been done on what foods we should eat, there is one fact remaining...
the majority of people in developed countries eat too much food.
There is no substitute for consuming less food if you have health problems already, and you are overweight.
You are literally what you eat.
Once a close friend of mine went for his annual physical and the results showed a developing problem from overweight.
He was given a diet plan that contained all the good foods except desserts.
The big difference was that only about one third of the amount he was accustomed to eating was allowed.
None was to be fried and no desserts other than fruits.
If you are a dessert addict like this guy, keep a bowl of fruit handy for dessert and snacks.
Again, it is important to keep track of how much fruit you eat because they have sugars.
Following the diet closely, he lost 30 pounds in about 15 weeks.
However, if he goes back to his usual eating habits, that weight will come back usually in the same place he lost it unless a good exercise program accompanies the diet.
This one third less diet is a very good choice for long term plans after you have lost that risky 30 plus pounds in a fast start plan.
