The Passion Cocktail can best be described as a Tequila Cosmo. Similar to the Cosmopolitan, this recipe uses a mix of cranberry, lime, and orange liqueur. In this case Grand Marnier is used instead of Cointreau, which in this case is a nice pairing with the tequila.

The original recipe called for a gold tequila, though I have since changed that because there are so many great tequilas to choose from. For a slightly darker flavor profile, try a reposado tequila.

This recipe creates either one large cocktail or two smaller cocktails, making it a great option for date night.
