It can be really confusing to be all set up, and earnestly doing your best to get your ex back...
only to be confronted and blocked by the wall that is the line "let's just be friends.
"You know she still cares for you, so why is she acting like this? The reasoning is actually pretty simple, even if it may be a little confusing.
Chances are good that the cause of this odd behavior is that she still cares for you, but doesn't KNOW she really still cares for you.
I know, right?How can she love you and not know it?Those kinds of feelings are something you're generally aware of, right?Well, not necessarily.
She may not be letting herself see how much she cares for you, because she's afraid inside of things not working and her getting hurt again.
The breakup isn't any easier for her than it is for you, so naturally she's going to want to avoid any more pain.
And so, often she'll not let herself realize the extent of her feelings for you even though she consciously knows you're too important to her to let you go completely out of her life.
And so, she'll keep "leading you on" so to speak...
staying in your life, but keeping you at arm's length to avoid any more pain that could arise from another failed attempt to make things work.
Getting past this roadblock isn't easy, but it doesn't have to be difficult either if you now what you're doing.
