Spain has always welcomed campers with open arms to its many tourist spots and camp destinations.
The last record says Spain has more than a thousand camp sites where people could relax and have unbridled fun.
Campers have a lot of varieties to elect from and there are enough places to keep happy campers who are on a budget.
Like most European countries, one can find their way around Spain with a map and basic knowledge of the Spanish language.
Presence of Regional Dialects The main language, Spanish, is originally known as Castilian.
This is the most widespread language though you will have occasions when you encounter people who speak other regional languages.
This is because Spain is a congregation of many regions and each of these regions has a very dominant culture of their own.
Other languages include Catalan, Galician and Euskera.
So, in case you camp in Catalonia aka Barcelona then make sure you know bits of Catalan or carry an English-Catalan pocket dictionary.
Places of Interest Spain is an appropriate diverse country and wholesome place for tourist's delight.
Prominent and well known places include Costa Brava, Costa Dorada, Madrid, Barcelona and Catalonia, Sevilla and Andalucia, Benidorm, Salou, Rosas, Tarragona, Estartit, Cambrils, Almeria, etc.
Apart from these, there are hundreds of other places which are far smaller than the ones mentioned above but still they appear interesting for an adventurous and keen tourist.
Camping Sites Among the thousands of camping sites in Spain, some are immensely popular due to the combination of luxury, cost, weather and surroundings that they offer.
Some of these campsites include Andalucia (Sevilla), Asturias (Oviedo), Aragon (Zaragoza), Balearic Islands (Palma), Cantabria (Santander), Canary Islands (Las Palmas), Castile La-Mancha (Toledo), Catalonia (Barcelona), Castile-Leon (Valladolid), Extremadura (Merida), La Rioja (Logroño), (Santiago de Compostelle), Madrid (Madrid), Navarre (Pamplona), Murcia (Murcia), Valencia (Valencia) and Basque Country (Bilbao).
Other Attractions Spain is home to many resorts operating from their beautiful beaches.
Some of these beaches are an affront to the bluest sea water in Europe.
Its numerous villages and towns are its other major attractions.
Costa Brava is one such place with very scenic landscapes.
Most of the Spain's beaches are unspoilt with brilliant sunshine to boot.
Once you are done with all the beaches and the countryside, you can always look for Spain's great cities like Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Madrid and Bilbao.
These cities are home to prominent tourist sites and cultural spots like art galleries and museums.
