By the time you begin to read this, you'd probably know who the next President of The United states of America will be.
As I write now and Americans walk out of the homes to cast their votes, Obama's supporters, confident of a big victory, have already started celebrating.
And the Democratic think tank is formalizing plans to tackle the current financial meltdown.
The Republicans, however still remain optimistic.
As an election observer from India I watch people queue up for a vote.
I find most of them - Obama supporters mainly...
there are simply too many of them - choosing hope over fear, unity over division, the promise of change over the power so status quo.
Do I sound like Obama himself? Maybe, but it's hard to be in the us right now and not feel the drama and the passion surrounding the two candidates.
It's hard not to believe in either obama or mccain and their ideals.
No wonder, the US will go on to witness the biggest election-day turnout in its history on Tuesday.
The longest presidential campaign in American History, Election '08 has succeeded in inspiring the American Youth - a sizable population but hitherto reluctant to exercise voting rights - to vote for a president of their choice.
The sense of personal responsible and that common problem are not the Governments concerns alone have swept the entire country, leaving in its wake a 30% increasing voting.
Polls indicate a close race between Obama and McCain.
There are still millions of voters out there who have not made up their minds.
The polls predict a close race with the outcome in the eight battle grounds states likely to decide the final winner.
Besides his home turf of ill ions, Obama rests his hopes of a victory on the democratic strongholds of California, New York and Michigan.
And he has been steadily campaigning to erode Republican loyalty in states that are GOP strong holds and ones that voted for George W bush in 2004, Ohio tops that list Also on the Democrat's chart are Montana, North Dakota, Virginia and New Mexico.
Another Significant aspect of the poll and one that is significant from India's Perspectives is the overwhelming support of the Indian- American community for Obama.
Opinion polls predict over 80 per cent Indian- Americans will vote for him.
The figure might surprise some considering the warm ties of the Republicans with India, but the Diaspora seems to have made a clear choice.
It's Obama All the way.
