How to Send a Birthday Card to a Mobile Phone
- 1). Search for a website that provides cell phone greeting cards. Some of the e-card companies will provide this service. However, you have to make sure they specify "cell phone" on the website, because the file which will created will be different than what travels in an email. ATM Greetings, TelePK, and Cool GSM Rings are examples of companies which provide such service (see Resources).
- 2). Select the kind of electronic greeting you would like to send. Consider your relationship with the friend or family member. Do you joke around, or is the relationship more serious? Is this one of the big birthdays such as 21, 30, 40 or 50? Select the appropriate greeting card based on some of these criteria.
- 3). Add your personal greeting to the card. Many mobile cards feature some form of animation and music for the greeting. At the very end, they will give you the opportunity to personalize the card with a message of your own.
- 4). Fill out the required information. Depending on the website, you likely will need to fill out your email address and provide the cell phone number of the recipient. If this is a pay site, you need to provide billing information and a payment option for processing.
- 5). Send the birthday card to the mobile phone. Shortly after you confirm the greeting and hit "send," the card will appear as a message in the recipient's cell phone.
