Help With Removing Burned-On Stains From a Stainless Steel Range Top
- 1). Boil a 1:1 solution of water and white vinegar.
- 2). Wipe the vinegar solution onto the burned-on stains on the stainless steel range top.
- 3). Leave the vinegar solution overnight. The acidity will work to dissolve the burnt food.
- 4). Wipe the stain away and clean the range top with stainless steel cleaner.
- 1). Make a paste from 3 tablespoons of water and 3 tablespoons of a nonabrasive cleanser that is safe for stainless steel, such as Bar Keepers Friend or Greased Lightning.
- 2). Apply the cleanser paste to the stain.
- 3). Leave it for one minute.
- 4). Wipe away the cleanser and clean the range top with stainless steel cleaner.
- 1). Spray oven cleaner directly onto the stain.
- 2). Let the oven cleaner stand as long as suggested by the oven cleaner manufacturer.
- 3). Wipe away the oven cleaner with a damp rag.
- 4). Clean the range top with stainless steel cleaner.
