Nokia 6600 Slide Phone Review
Nokia's 6600 mobile phone handset comes in two different designs - the slide version and the fold version. All of the functions and the main features are exactly the same for the two phones, but the design of the actual casing that it comes in is different. This article is myh review of the Slide version of the Nokia 6600 mobile phone.
The term slide refers to the fact that the front part of the phone slides up to reveal the keypad, which is otherwise hidden away. This means that handset can be quite small when closed, but yet still have a reasonably large screen size, as this can take up most of the front without having to leave space for the keypad. There are 3 buttons on the front however, so you don't need to open it uyp every time you are going to use it, only when you want to type in numbers, which is nice. It also gives you a very clean and attractive looking design.
This phone comes with the symbian operating system, which is very popular and easy to use. You get a 3.2 MP camera which has an LED flash to enable it to take decent quality snaps in low lighting conditions, and is also capable of recording video and can be used for video calls. For entertainment it comes equipped with both MP3 and FM radio, and you have a reasonable though not huge 18MB internal storage.
You can pick yourself up a Nokia 6600 Slide mobile phone for a pretty cheap price - I won't quote it as it obviously varies according to where you buy from - so this clearly isn't ever going to be a high end mobile phone handset to compete with the very best, but as a mid range phone that gives you great value for money I would personally recommend it.
