Another Month has Passed
I prefer Zak but his mum insists on Zach as his name is Zacharia afterall.
Oh well.
Anyway a lot has happened.
Zach is still taking his swimming lessons.
He has become a little champion, dog paddling to the edge and no fear of going under.
He has instantly grasped the art of climbing at a place called "play gym".
Truly I think Zach pretends he's "dumb" but instantly accomplishes all tasks put before him.
He quickly tires of old habits.
Only recently I started doing heaps of "high fives".
It looked so cute when he shot his beautiful little open palm up towards you and completed the "high five" But now it's with a reluctant groan and a slow reaction.
He wants something new.
Out with the old in with the new is little Zach's credo.
We have three white kittens that run for their little lives when Zach approaches.
He loves to hug them and he coos when he has hold of them.
But a bad habit we need to get him out of is his rough disposal.
One recently got tossed into a saucer of milk.
Others have been placed in kitchen cupboards and draws.
I'm anxious not to find any kittens shivering in the refrigeratror.
None yet.
Zach loves music.
He showed it rather clearly just yesterday.
Two hours at our local Club and he is the centre of attention.
There he is with the club entertainerperforming, and Zach is the sole person on the dance floor pirouetting to the sound of the music.
There's no shyness evident with Zach in public.
His is a natural talent.
It's 11.
30 at night and everyone is asleep bar this lone typist detailing the life of my beautiful grand nephew Zach.
I trust that the readers are enjoying the journey with me.
