Owning Nature in Holidays
Beach holidays are a common vacation venue that everybody comes to enjoy. Even toddlers have so much fun playing in the sand and shallow water. People travel a long way just to get to beaches and frolic in the sun and sea. Most resorts offer overnight accommodation and services for those who want to enjoy the tranquillity of sand beaches by night among friends around a bonfire. You find quiet contentment and experience a blissful sleep after the exhaustion and fun in beach games, sand and water sports.
Other vacationers prefer the fresh smell of the green rustic outdoors. There are mountain resorts that package vacation holidays that one can call an experience of a lifetime. You can enjoy crispy fruits and vegetables freshly picked from nearby farms and offered by hotel resorts atop the highest crest of rolling hills giving you a vantage point perspective of the countryside. Exquisite wine is abundantly available from local surrounding vineyards and wineries. Your spirit glows in an inexplicable happiness feeling like you are at home with nature and own the whole expanse.
Just before dawn, you are roused from a fitful sleep by the front desk to announce the arrival of your tour guide who will take you hot air ballooning over hills of orchards, pine trees, vegetable farms and vineyards. After the exhilarating aerial tour, you touch down onto a lonely log cabin café to enjoy steaming native coffee and freshly baked bread with bacon and eggs. You do not need any more stretching or rest as you are ready and geared up for your trek back to the hotel detouring to some of the orchards and vegetable patches bearing fruits of orange, purple, red, yellow and ostensibly all colours in between that complement the general green surrounding you.
With your temples pulsing from the exertion that you rarely experience in your daily city routine, you finally reach the hotel and the first thing you do is find the bar for a really cold drink. You mentally prepare for your departure back to the city and hesitate for a moment trying to shake off the urge to postpone it. You eventually come back to reality and feel content that you have come and experienced nature at close quarters in this holiday tryst.
