Vodka is a very versatile base spirit that can liven up any holiday party or social event year round. It combines well with a variety of mixers and it goes down smoothly. Cheaper brands leave a small after burn effect while more expensive brands are generally smooth and tasteless. - Even if you don't live near a beach, these vodka-based summertime cocktails will make you want to grab a towel and some suntain lotion. Sex on the Beach is made with vodka, peach schnapps, creme de cassis, orange juice and cranberry juice. The Flirtini is a combination of vodka, Champagne, Cointreau, pineapple juice, and fresh pineapple juice. A Fuzzy Navel is the result of mixing vodka with peach schnapps and orange juice.
