Simple and Relaxing Way to Improve Your Eyesight Without Surgery
For one, you can now brag about the fact that you achieved better eyesight without surgery.
No longer will you require special goggles when swimming or diving nor will you be called names in school.
Of course, vision improvement can be costly.
It costs a couple thousand dollars and that's not including the recovery period and the risks that comes with it.
Yes, contrary to popular belief, lasik surgery do entail a plethora of risks.
These include going blind, dry eyes and over/under correction.
Fortunately, there's an alternative.
It's called eye exercise.
Unlike what it's name suggests, eye exercises do not strengthen eye muscles.
On the contrary, eye exercises relaxes your eye muscles.
The term "eye exercises" refer to a series of repetitions that you can perform.
They very much like "breathing exercises".
Bad vision results from incorrect use of your eyes.
By doing these eye exercises, you are subconsciously training yourself to see the way your eyes are meant to be used.
The first fundamental vision exercise I'm going to introduce you to is called focusing.
All you have to do is place two small objects (erasers or pens work great) about 40cm apart.
Position your head in the middle of them but lift it up high as if you're reading a book.
Turn your head to focus on the left object and try not to see the right object.
Initially, you'll find this difficult to do as you're diffusing your focus.
But keep doing it.
Remember to blink and breathe deeply when you're focusing.
Do the same for the right object and rotate every 5 minutes.
This exercise reawaken your eye's ability to focus.
Diffusing your focus places strain on your eye muscles - the source of bad vision.
