Accidents always happen and we don't have the power to stop it we have a choice to be prepared for it. It is quite a consolation to use knowing that whatever happens, we always have our insurance provider to catch and shoulder all the finances whether it is in the form of paying the repair cost or giving us another new truck if in case your truck gets stolen.

However, before you do the purchase, there are some things that you need to be aware of and this are:

1. It might seem unbelievable to you but your insurance broker might be the issue when you are about to purchase your insurance policy. Make sure that your brokers have been dealing with truck insurance for a long time so you are assured that they know all about the insurance policy and even the coverage that you need. For example, you as a truck owner know that for different types of trucks demands different insurance policy and also, a truck owner is required to get different insurance from a sub contractor. This might be obvious to you but not to your broker especially if your broker doesn't deal with insurance truck on a regular basis.

2. Always get two to three quotes from different insurance provider as this will make you choose the right policy for your truck. This is important because you will know what rate you should expect for your insurance and also allows you to compare each policy from one another. If a quote from one company comes into a cheaper cost, make sure you know why. The reason for this might be the cover for this policy might not be comprehensive or does not cover the insurance you need. When comparing, you can always be sure that you are going to get the best insurance policy for your truck or trucking business.

3. Always tell the truth. The problem with people is that they lie in their forms in hopes that they can save money. The truth is, when you lie and does not give the correct information about your

truck, you might end up not claiming your right. Your insurance company will not pay you once they found that you are actually lying. They will consider your contract with them null and void thus you cannot claim your right.
