In this article we are going to focus on how worship is done biblically taking it from the book of Revelations.
Revelations 5:12 "to him who sits on the throne and unto the lamb be blessing, honour, glory and power forever and ever".
The bible states that all creation heavenly and earthly should join to bring/ ascribe/to offer unto God blessing, honour, glory and power.
I realized that these four words blessing, honour, glory and power encompass the word worship.
Worship is just represented by these four words, worship is not just singing it's a lifestyle so you can sing it, walk it, live it, its basis is that you are giving God glory at all times.
Meaning Blessing - thanksgiving, praise, love Honour - respect, fear, reverence, acknowledgment Glory - beauty, splendour, light, effulgence, radiance Power - authority, power, majesty, kingship, governance These words represent all the worship creation should give, angels and creation in heaven should worship in this manner all the time just as it is given in heaven but the question is how do you worship God personally? All creation was created to worship all they or we must do is to present, to offer, ascribe to God blessing, honour, glory, power forever and ever.
The question still stands how do you worship when you come before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
If heavenly creation brings such worship as in Revelations 5:12, ask yourself how do I Worship.
It is when you worship God that you get to see how and the kind of God He is, it is only found in reverential worship God shows up and reveals who He is.
This is seen by Isaiah in Isaiah 6 when he said "woe to me for I am a man of unclean lips", it is because he had a revelation of God.
Worship brings such revelation to men when we understand and administer it right that God reveals himself to men.
