Disable System Restore (Windows XP Only)

• 1). Click the Start button, right-click on "My Computer" and select "Properties." Click on the "System Restore" tab.
  
  
• 2). Check the box next to "Turn Off System Restore." Click the "Apply" button.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Yes" button when the confirmation message appears. Click the "OK" button.
  
  

Removal

• 1). Launch your antivirus software. If you need antivirus, there are free options included in the Resource section. The icon to launch your antivirus software is located on the desktop, in the Start menu or the installation folder.
  
  
• 2). Follow the on-screen directions to update the software's virus definitions. These definitions provide the scanner with the data to detect and remove the latest malware threats.
  
  
• 3). Follow the on-screen directions to run a full system scan. Allow the scanner to search your computer's storage devices for the Zlog.G trojan. The scan takes several minutes to finish.
  
  
• 4). Follow the on-screen directions to remove the Zlob.G Trojan and other detected malware. Close the antivirus scanner.
