Your Ex Dumped You - Here"s What You Need to Do Now!

Although there's lots of advice out there for people who find themselves on the receiving end of a breakup, it's of little consolation when friends and family tell you that "you'll get over it" and "it's not the end of the world.
" Well, it is actually a big deal and it just might seem like the end of the world to anyone who is going through this highly emotional experience.
During this time, it's not unusual to feel as though you'll never recover - that there'll never be anyone exactly like your ex.
The thought of ever finding love again seems highly unlikely.
It's perfectly normal to feel like this and you shouldn't beat yourself up trying to fight it.
You've been hurt emotionally and you need time to heal.
Fighting these emotions and putting on a brave face is usually an exercise in futility.
So does that mean that you should just give up?   Of course not, but you do need to take as much time as needed to recuperate and reorganize.
Getting yourself away from the situation is definitely the first thing you should do.
Don't worry if you don't have any long-term plans or any slick ways to get your ex back; just get yourself out of there.
By removing yourself from the situation, you will ensure that you won't be tempted to make matters worse by pestering your ex and torturing yourself in the process.
Take a vacation, go visit some friends, or stay with a family member for a while.
The important thing is that you're not reminded of the situation 24/7.
Yes, you may still be absolutely devastated and experiencing obsessive thoughts, but being around other people will take your mind off things.
Take advantage of this time to really think about what happened and try to put together a rough plan for the future.
Whether this involves trying to reconcile with your ex, or getting your life together and moving on, at least you'll be able to make rational decisions by not allowing your emotions to take hold of you.
After the worst is over, you may be able to contact your ex in a much more mature and confident manner.
