My Reivew on Ping K15 irons/hybrids

101 11
The K15 Series is part of expansion of PING's award-winning product line.If I were to limit myself to a single adjective to describe the feel of the PING K15, it would be ‘consistent'. There is really only the slightest difference in feel between balls struck on the sweet spot, and balls struck anywhere but the hosel

From the Ping company
Iron
To improve your ball flight and build consistency in your game, the larger K15 iron combines a lightweight titanium face with a stainless-steel body to increase both forgiveness and launch conditions. Four hybrid options (3 through 6) rely on a patent-pending design that creates lower-spinning, higher-launching shots that fly straighter and longer.

PING engineers made the iron clubface larger and added 27 grams to the perimeter for a higher MOI. The iron's extra-wide sole features a low and deep center of gravity to promote high trajectories and low spin. High launch angles allowed iron lofts to be strengthened without compromising control.

Hybrid
A large internal weight pad in the hybrids produces a high MOI for added forgiveness. The hybrid's offset hosel and face relationship increases launch and lowers spin. This design evolved from the G15. The iron-style head with offset creates a more dynamic launch than previous models and helps to get the ball in the air more easily. Ping designers took weight away from the center and placed it in the heel and sole, increasing inertia dramatically for improved forgiveness. The K15 hybrids are available in 3H, 4H, 5H and 6H. They rely on an extremely high moment of inertia and a patent-pending feature that creates lower-spinning, higherlaunching shots that fly longer and straighter.

How Do I test about them
It's always something of a thrill to get your hands on a new set of clubs and particularly so when they come from Ping.Having used my current set of irons for some time now - foolishly purchased for their sleek aesthetics rather than ease of use, a fatal mistake for any mid-high handicapper - it was a genuine pleasure to use the new K15 irons.

The wide sole enables the clubs to sit comfortably behind the ball, almost positioning and aligning themselves, and it wasn't long before I was struck with the realisation of how easy they are to use.Their chunky design and dark grey finish won't be to everyone's taste, but if they consistently send the ball where you want it to go I don't think anyone would complain.

I got very good results with the hybrid too although I personally can't help thinking orthopaedic shoe when looking at clubs shaped in this style. Bottom line though is how you strike the ball and there were no complaints here.
