How to Replace the EGR Valve on a Dodge Stealth
- 1). Open the hood and locate the EGR valve on the intake manifold. The top of the valve looks saucer-shaped, and there is a small rubber hose connected to it and held in place by friction.
- 2). Grab the vacuum hose connected to the top of the EGR valve and pull it from the valve.
- 3). Unbolt the two mounting bolts that hold the EGR valve to the intake manifold and pull the EGR valve off the manifold.
- 4). Mount the new EGR valve and align the bolt holds on the valve with the mounting holes on the intake manifold.
- 5). Secure the EGR valve using the factory-mounting hardware and a socket wrench. Reconnect the vacuum hose.
