Westley Allan Dodd was a serial killer and child molester from Richland, Washington. Dodd was sentenced to death for molesting and then stabbing to death three children. He also confessed to sexually abusing at least 50 other children from the age of 13 until he was caught in 1989. His execution on January 5, 1993, was the first legal hanging in the United States since 1965.
