How to Teach Your Young Teen About Chlamydia

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease, which is becoming common in teens and is sometimes asymptomatic especially in teens.
Since teens nowadays are expose to several audio-visual information, it is only appropriate that you as a parent, should teach your child about Chlamydia.
How would you do this? Here are methods you could employ in teaching them about Chlamydia.
1.
Get a flip chart and make them aware of the ways in which they could get infected.
2.
Give a short lecture on the function of each part though the chart.
3.
Show an educational film about how it is contracted.
4.
Let him browse over the encyclopedia has good pictures to show your teen.
5.
Let him go over Medical books have colorful and vivid pictures that would demonstrate the disease "in all its shining glory.
" As they say, a picture speaks a thousand words.

Videos are available for teens.
Select the one that you know would grab her/his attention.
You know your child well.

Allow him to listen to a health care professional discuss the disease.
