How to Make a Webpage Available Offline

    Internet Explorer

    • 1). Add the website to your favorites. On the open Web page, open the "Favorites" menu and click "Add to Favorites."

    • 2). Click the "Make Available Offline" check box. To select how much content to download and specify a schedule for periodically updating the page click "Customize" and follow the instructions.

    • 3). Click "OK" to save the page to your hard drive so it can be viewed when offline.

    Firefox

    • 1). Browse to the Web page you would like to be able to view offline.

    • 2). Click on "File" on the menu bar. Select the "Save Page As" option. In the "Save As Type" bar, select "Web Page, Complete" to make sure that the entire Web page and contents are saved.

    • 3). Select the save location for the webpage. If you do not wan to save the Web page to the default location of the desktop then browse and select a suitable save location on your hard drive. Click "Save". The website will now be able to be viewed in Firefox offline, when you open it from the folder you saved it in.

    Safari

    • 1). Navigate to the page you wish to view offline.

    • 2). Open the "File" menu in the toolbar. Select "Save As" from the menu.

    • 3). Select the directory that you would like to save the Web page to. In the "Format" box select "Web Archive." Click "Save." The Web page is now accessible offline, from the saved directory folder and will be opened in Safari.
