How to Remove Denture Lining Material
- 1). Wet the tip of a indelible pencil. Mark the sore spot with the indelible pencil. Place your the denture into your mouth.
- 2). Remove the denture carefully. Be sure not to smudge the marking with anything.
- 3). Insert a cutting bur into the Dremel tool. Remove the denture lining with the Dremel tool, where indicated by the indelible pencil marking. Be careful not to over-reduce the denture lining. This may affect the overall fit of the denture.
- 4). Place the denture back into your mouth. Determine if enough work has been done on the irritated area. Repeat steps one through four, until the pressure on the sore spot has been alleviated.
