Can We Use Anonymized HIPPA Data From Anesthesiologists to Help in Human Hibernation Research?

As a futurist type thinker, a science fiction writer, and a lover of technology I've always been fascinated by the concept of human hibernation for long-term spaceflight.
Now then, you might think that is somewhat esoteric, but it does makes sense that if we are to send humans to Alpha Centauri, that is before it crashes into our own galaxy in 4 billion years, that we are going to have to hibernate these humans as they travel through deep space, and wake them up in thousands of years.
But how are we really going to solve the challenges of human hibernation? Okay so, let's talk about this for second let me give you some thoughts on this future technology as we move forward.
You see, it is my contention that there are chemicals which can put humans to sleep, and if properly regulated can keep them sleeping, slowing down their body functions and their aging to practically nothing.
This would allow them to travel vast distances and perhaps only age 10 years in the process.
However, it takes a long time to study something like this, and human trials are not so easy, and the project would have to be funded for generations itself.
Therein lies the dilemma if we use public money for the research, along with the challenges of getting volunteers to go into hibernation, or be frozen without any guarantees that they would wake up at all.
What if we did this, what if we anonymized all the HIPPA data from all the anesthesiologists, along with all the spontaneous human hibernation switch happens around the world each year.
What if we looked for common threads, and took all that data and used it in our researching? What would we find? The answer is we may not know if we will find anything, but we have a ton of data that we haven't sifted through yet.
We are going to need to do this, so we can learn more before we even start initiating any type of research here to make sure we are at least asking the right questions and barking up the right branch of the science tree.
It wasn't until now that we started collecting all this information, but even the military collects this information in military hospitals now.
All that could be available without anonymizing the data, and all the information in all the other hospitals from all the other anesthesiologists in the private sector could be anonymized, and then we could figure out if there's something more to this, and what we can learn.
This is just a thought, and I hope you will please consider all this and think on.
