How to Replace the Rear Wiper Arm on a 2000 Discovery Land Rover
- 1). Take the spare tire off the back of the Land Rover.
- 2). Lift the rear wiper arm off the back window.
- 3). Release the retaining clip securing the wiper blade. Pull the blade off the hook at the end of the wiper arm.
- 4). Place a towel on the windshield and lower the wiper arm onto the towel. This will protect the glass while you remove the arm.
- 5). Remove the cover at the base of the arm to expose the wiper arm's nut.
- 6). Remove the nut with a socket wrench.
- 7). Lift the arm out. Disconnect and remove the wiper fluid tube from the jet at the end of the arm. Cut off the zip ties from the tubing. Separate the tubing from the end of the arm and lay the tubing on the towel.
- 8). Attach the tubing and the jet to the new wiper arm. Zip-tie slack parts of the tubing to the arm.
- 9). Secure the new arm on its attachment with the nut, using a socket wrench.
