I-Dog Directions
- 1). Use a Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment of the I-Dog. The battery compartment is located on the back right leg of the I-Dog. Insert two new AA alkaline batteries, close the compartment door and screw it closed.
- 2). Turn on your I-Dog by pressing its nose. The nose is actually an on/off button. You will know when it has turned on because the ears will move and sound and light animation will be produced. Turn off the I-Dog by pressing the nose button for five seconds. Light animation and sound will signal that it is being turned off.
- 3). Provide your I-Dog with "love and attention." The I-Dog instruction manual notes that you will need to "pet" the dog by waving your hand over the top of its head and waiting for a response: a warm glowing LED light. The I-Dog may request more "love and attention" by creating a blinking, pinkish/purple light. The faster the I-Dog blinks this color, the more urgently it needs "love and attention."
- 4). "Feed" your I-Dog by playing music at least five minutes of every hour. The I-Dog will show you it needs additional "food" by blinking a blue light.
- 5). Hook up your I-Dog to a musical device such as a CD player by plugging end A of the connector cord into the I-Dog and plugging end B into the headphone jack of your musical device. Then plug your headphones into end C of the connector cord to listen to your music.
