Day 8 on Losing Weight

103 8
Always spend your mornings right - that's an important step to making sure your daily weight loss program is followed.
For one thing, make sure that you don't feel groggy when you wake up in the morning by getting enough sleep on the night before.
If you're intent on losing all that fat, then you might want to cut down on those late night parties for a while.
Lack of sleep causes your metabolism to fluctuate and you might even gain weight because of that.
Moreover, you need to keep a positive attitude in the morning.
How you feel when you wake up is probably how you'll feel for the rest of the day.
So try spending a few minutes in the morning building a positive attitude, especially about your endeavours in losing weight.
Affirmations are about saying "yes".
People tend to say no most of the time without knowing how much it affects them.
You don't even have to blurt out this response to anyone else.
You just have to think of these answers in your head, and they can already affect you.
If you happen to say no, you're unconsciously weakening your body's capability in doing things.
It's probably even worse than hearing someone else put you down.
It could be worse if it gets to you in the morning as well, so you need to learn to give yourself an instant reminder to perk you up into the better side of the morning.
Try writing a note in front of your mirror so that you'll see it every time you wake up.
Simple statements like "I love myself!" or "I'm going to have a great day today," can do wonders to your self-motivation.
Once you make a habit out of this, you won't need to write notes anymore - you'll remember these statements as you wake up each morning.
Focus on some of the things that you have problems with the most such as your constant craving to eat things that are against your diet or the way you look.
You don't have to lie to yourself, but you can look at the bright side of things, like appreciating how much you've lost since you started working out.
Half a bagel with a bit of cream cheese, bananas and a cup of coffee would be a great day to start day 8.
Also have a serving of kiwi and grapes later in the day for your snacks, while sticking to salad with olives and whole wheat crackers.
For something heavier, try roast beef sandwich and potatoes.
Here's one more reason to feel good about yourself: day 8 marks the day that you passed one week of your diet efforts.
Pat yourself on the back by taking a pleasant walk around the back or walking your dogs, with a skip or a jump every now and then.
It's a pleasant workout, but effective nonetheless.
