One might see these types of homes in a football game, concerts, and in camping sites. So if you are into convenient travelling without having to worry about accommodations, then having one of these mobile homes is the perfect thing for you.

Mobile Home Advantages
Since it is cheaper compared to an regular house, this is the most common reason why people resort to living in a mobile home. It is forty percent less expensive than having to build an actual house. Their prices can be as low as twenty thousand dollars which is lower than most of the new cars sold today.

Another advantage of this type of house is that it needs less maintenance compared to a traditional house. They were built for low-maintenance purposes, which makes the owners worry-free about spending a lot of money every year for basic repairs. These homes can also be very stylish. The designs of todays mobile houses are very fashionable that they look similar to a traditional one. It has a lot of upgrades and accessories such as lofts, master bedrooms and porches which is a neat way of adding a touch of class to ones mobile home.

Moreover, it is also a given fact that you can have your own house faster in a mobile house than in an ordinary one. Why? Because there is no need for you to wait for months or even years for it to be built, you just choose one that takes your fancy, pay for it, wait for its shipment (which only takes a day) and when it arrives, you have a home to live in.

Disadvantages of Mobile Homes
A known disadvantage of having a mobile house is that it does not increase in value unlike ordinary homes do. So if you have one and plan on selling it, do not expect a profit from it. If at all you make a profit, it wont be much, in fact, it will be more like a breakeven. It is not as durable as traditional homes make of brick, cement and hard wood. Also, there is a big temperature difference from mobile houses since it is not properly insulated. This means that if it is cold or hot outside, you will have to use the heater or air conditioner more often than you would in a typical house.

With all those advantages and disadvantages in owning a mobile home, it is still a great method in saving money. However, be aware that they come cheap for a reason.
