Dr.
"Shorty" Beaglewalker sat in a chair in a large living room of a reader's house.
An announcer said, "He doesn't need an introduction, but, in case you don't know him, I'd like to introduce you to Dr.
Beaglewalker, the Dog Whisperer.
" Beaglewalker stood up-all 3 feet 4 inches of him in front of his readers.
Everyone clapped as they adjusted their heads down to look at the author.
"I'd like to thank all of you for reading my books.
Let me ask you a question: Are they helping you manage your dogs' behavior?" All fifty-plus readers clapped for a long time.
After the end of the speech, the writer notices a Great Dane.
The owner said to him, "I'd like you to meet my dog, "Stretcher.
" Dr.
Beaglewalker says to the dog, "Nice to meet you, Stretcher.
Sit!" The dog doesn't sit.
The owner tells him, "He's very disobedient.
I was wondering if you could work with him.
There's just one word that drives him crazy.
" "Oh? Well, I think I can help out with that.
" Dr.
Beaglewalker said as he took the dog's leash.
Suddenly, Stretcher ran out the door, dragging Dr.
Beaglewalker out the door.
The dog dragged him around the block, returning in three minutes after running a couple of blocks.
Beaglewalker's clothes were torn from being dragged on the pavement.
Unaware of the man's ordeal, the audience looked around to talk to him, they saw the little author, lying on the floor, holding the Great Dane's leash.
"Dr.
Beaglewalker, what happened to you?" "I..
I...
don't know," he replied.
One of the fans asks, "Do you need to go out and get some air?" Suddenly, the dog ran out with the author, holding his leash while the dog ran around the block.
Some of the fans thought he was in the middle of training a large dog.
One of them said, "Let's watch him work!" Everyone agreed.
Within two minutes, the dog appeared at the door with the man still holding the leash, being dragged across the floor.
Everyone applauded.
Beaglewalker said in a weak voice, "Please.
Don't say 'out.
'" Then, the dog dragged him out again and returned in three minutes.
His clothes were shredded and he was bleeding in quite a few places.
His fist was still firmly wrapped around the leash.
The owner said, "This is exactly what my Stretcher is struggling with.
Dr.
Beaglewalker has just shown us what happens when someone says, 'Out.
'" "Oh no! Not again!" Dr.
Beaglewalker yelled.
